It is difficult not to watch other people through their windows. We are taught we shouldn’t, but observing what other people do seems to be a very basic human interest and most of us will do it, even if we don’t admit it.

It is, however, interesting how little we actually see through a window and how complex the stories can be, that we build around what we see. Two boys seen through a window seem to talk to somebody we cannot see. Are they angry? Are they leaving the apartment? The rest is not visible but becomes a sort of a mirror upon which we project what we bring from our own experience. Nika Radic

CV

Nika Radic´ ist bildende Künstlerin, die sich in ihren Arbeiten hauptsächlich mit dem Thema der Kommunikation beschäftigt. Sie benutzt Medien von Video Installationen, räumlichen Installationen bis zur Photographie. Sie studierte Bildhauerei an der Kunstakademie in Zagreb und Kunstgeschichte an der Uni in Wien.
